  • How does Perfect Noggin work?
Perfect Noggin is an anatomically-correct convex resting surface that promotes head rounding far better than any product of its kind. Unlike traditional flat mattresses, which over time can create head flattening, the Perfect Noggin's unique head recess provides a concave surface that allows the head to remain round and symmetrical through early infancy.
  • Is Perfect Noggin safe for infant sleep?
The Perfect Noggin is a firm, dedicated resting surface with no loose or soft components. The head recess allows the neck to assume an ergonomically ideal neutral position relative to the body, which is best to open the airway and facilitate breathing. Because the Perfect Noggin is only used within a bassinet or crib, it discourages co-sleeping and similar dangerous infant sleep environments.
  • Do I need to reposition my baby's head while they are sleeping in the Perfect Noggin?
Repositioning. or the infant or their head in the Perfect Noggin is never required. In fact, the Perfect Noggin was designed so parents could avoid tedious and ineffective .repositioning activities. Your infants head is free to move side to side within the recessed area, but this will not reduce its effectiveness.

  • If my baby can roll belly to back, can I use Perfect Noggin?
The Perfect Noggin can be used unsupervised until your infant is rolling back to belly. After this, the Perfect Noggin can still be used but with supervision only.
  • To which countries do you ship?
If your child temds to move excessively, but is not rolling back to belly, you can try using a swaddle or other sleep sack. If you child scoots down off the Perfect Noggin, a "speed bump" can be fashioned to reduce this. This is created by rolling a large face towel like a cigar, and placing it under the cotton cover at the level of your baby's bottom. The size of the roll can be increased as needed.
  • How do you clean the Perfect Noggin?
The base of the Perfect Noggin is made of ABS plastic and can be wiped down with a mild soap and water mixture. The foam layers are comprised of closed cell IXPE foam, which is one of the safest and most bioinert foam types made. The layers are delicate and can be easily damaged by excessive force or harsh chemicals. The foam can be cleaned using a mild soap and water mixture applied with a moist cloth.
  • What are the dimensions of the Perfect Noggin and does it fit into a standard bassinet?
The Perfect Noggin measures 30 inches in length and 14.5 inches in width and fits into most standard sized bassinets and all cribs. The Perfect Noggin should always be placed in the middle of the bassinet or crib.
  • How much time should my baby spend in the Perfect Noggin?
As much as possible. The more time your baby spends in the Perfect Noggin, the faster and better the result. Remember, time spent out of the Perfect Noggin, especially on hard, flat surfaces, can reduce the progress made while in the PN.
  • What is the return policy?
Please refer to the return policy of each individual product.
  • Do I need to reposition by baby in the Perfect Noggin?
No! That is the beauty of the Perfect Noggin. You never have to worry about repositioning your baby again. This is true even if their head is turned to one side. The contoured head recess acts to round out the head regardless of position, so you can quit worrying about repositioning and get some rest!
  • How do I know if my baby is in the correct foam layer?
The Perfect Noggin comes with a special measuring tape that is coded to each layer. Measure your baby's head as shown in the instructions, then remove the layers of foam that are smaller that the one shown on the tape measure. Be sure to leave all of the larger layers nested on the plastic base. The fit should be snug (not tight) so it may be necessary to adjust the layer size up of down, depending on your baby's shape.
